Our Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments are clinically designed to evaluate each child’s communication, sensory and developmental presentation. Led by experienced qualified clinicians, these assessments help identify areas of strength and need and provide evidence-based clinical recommendations where appropriate.
Whether families are seeking an initial clinical assessment or a follow-up review, our ASD assessments use structured observation, parent consultation and recognised assessment tools to support the identification and understanding of neurodevelopmental needs.
ASD Screener:
A Preliminary Autism Screening is a brief clinical screening session designed to identify indicators associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The screening helps determine whether a comprehensive clinical assessment may be appropriate based on observed presentation, developmental history, and parent or carer concerns.
This screening is suitable for families seeking an initial clinical opinion regarding possible neurodevelopmental differences. The session includes verbal clinical feedback and recommendations regarding appropriate next steps. Please note, this screening does not provide a formal diagnosis or written clinical report.
ASD Assessment & Report
An ASD Assessment and Report involves a comprehensive clinical evaluation to assess whether a child presents with characteristics consistent with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Conducted by experienced HCPC-registered clinicians and appropriately qualified professionals, the assessment includes a review of developmental history, structured clinical observation, parent or carer consultation, and the use of recognised standardised assessment tools, including the ADOS-2 where clinically appropriate.
Following assessment, families receive a detailed clinical report outlining assessment findings, clinical interpretation, and evidence-based recommendations relevant to the child’s communication, sensory and developmental presentation.
ASD Diagnosis & Report
The Full Diagnostic Assessment for Autism is a detailed clinical evaluation carried out by experienced HCPC-registered clinicians and appropriately qualified professionals to determine whether a child meets the diagnostic criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The assessment process may include developmental history, structured clinical observation, standardised assessment tools such as the ADOS-2, and parent or carer consultation.
Following completion of the assessment, families receive a formal clinical outcome where appropriate, together with a comprehensive diagnostic report outlining findings, clinical interpretation, and recommendations for ongoing therapeutic support where clinically indicated. The report may also support onward referrals or assessment processes where appropriate.
Reduced Waiting Time
If you have waited for months for an assessment of your child, a private diagnosis can significantly reduce the waiting time.
Early Diagnosis
A private assessment can provide for an earlier diagnosis of your child. This can be invaluable in providing a clear pathway for their future from an early age.
Knowledge
Have more knowledge and a better understanding of your child’s needs, and the support you can provide as a parent.

Yes. Our assessments and reports are written to the standard required by local authorities and the NHS, and are widely accepted.
The full process may take place over 2–3 sessions, depending on your child’s needs. Reports are typically ready within 2 weeks.
That’s great. A diagnosis may still be helpful for long-term planning, access to services, and additional educational support.
