You can contact us via telephone, email, or social media for an initial chat. This service will be free of charge. We will be happy to address any questions you may have including, the setting, type of therapy, prices, etc.
If and when you are happy to proceed you will be asked to come in for a consultation. The consultation will last 90 minutes and will cost £150. During the consultation session, the parents will be asked a set of questions about the child and a screening assessment will be conducted. You will be provided with a copy of the results within 2 weeks. This will be communicated via email!
If you decide to go ahead, we will try to accommodate your chosen date(s)/ hour(s) that are convenient for you, and find the right therapist that we believe will be a better fit with both the child and yourselves.
If you decide that we are not the right setting for you and your child we will respect your decision and provide you with alternative avenues that we deem would be beneficial to your child.
When the child starts therapy, they will have an independent plan in place, of which the therapist will follow and will monitor the progression as well as the targets for your child.
A year from when the child has started, you will get an annual report with the progression, achievement as well as objectives of your child.
Should you wish to benefit from getting daily feedback on your child, you are required to come 10 minutes before the therapy session ends. During this time, the therapist will provide you with feedback on areas such as, how the child was during the session, what the child was taught, the child’s progression, any gaps, and advice to the parent to try at home to reinforce the child’s achievements and progression.
If you need to cancel a therapy session, then 24-hour notice is required. We offer a replacement therapy session(s) if you cancel within the following hours. You will be notified well in advance of the alternative date(s) and time(s) of the replacement therapy session.
Monday to Friday cancellation times are 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday cancellation times are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
If you cancel outside of the 24-hour notice then the full cost becomes payable.
We are open 7 days a week from Monday to Sunday between the hours of 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Our clinic is shut in the month of August and during the Christmas period. You will be notified in advance.
You will be invoiced once a month. Invoices will be sent via email. Payment is expected within seven working days of the date of invoice unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing at the outset. Payment should be made via online banking.
If your payment fails or your account is past due, use of alternative collection mechanisms will be used. This may include collection agencies and legal counsel.
If your payment is missed, therapy will be suspended immediately.
If you are using private health insurance, you are responsible for settling the invoice and claiming from the insurer concerned. It is advisable to check the level and nature of your cover with the insurer before agreeing to therapy.
If you have any difficulties in meeting the cost of therapy, please talk to us about this as soon as possible.
Should we need to speak to other professionals involved in your child’s care, we will be seeking your permission before doing so.
Should you need to terminate the therapy sessions for your child, you are required to notify us in writing one month before.
All of our staff are DBS checked and have indemnity insurance.
